Aggieland Information Day
Are you a high school junior starting the college exploration process? Are you a high school senior who has submitted your application to Texas A&M University? Or are you a high school senior or college student early in their academic career and want to transfer to Texas A&M? If you fall into one of these categories, then Aggieland Information Day is a day program designed for you.
At Aggieland Information Day, prospective students will hear from Admissions, Scholarships & Financial Aid, and the colleges. Additionally, visitors will be able to go on a campus walking tour and visit a residence hall.
Who can attend Aggieland Information day?
Aggieland Information Day is open to prospective students interested in applying Texas A&M University as a freshman or transfer applicant. Families are welcome to attend as well.
Do I need to register?
Please register online to attend Aggieland Information Day.
What does it cost?
Aggieland Information Day is free. You will want to bring money for lunch, parking and shopping at the bookstore.
Can I meet with an admissions counselor while on campus?
Admissions sessions will be scheduled throughout the day. Counselors will be available after the sessions to answer questions.
Are campus walking tours available and do I need to register for a tour?
Campus walking tours and residence hall tours are available during Aggieland Information Day. Details are provided once you register for the event.
Do I need to check-in at any particular location?
No, simply begin attending the sessions you selected at the time of registration. After submitting your online registration, you received a confirmation email with your selected sessions listed. If you did not receive this email, please contact Meredith Ramirez at email@example.com.
Visitors can request free WiFi on Main Campus and West Campus at the following locations:
- Memorial Student Center throughout the whole building
- Rudder Tower on the 2nd, 9th and 10th floor
- TEAS Annex on the first floor
- Liberal Arts & Humanities at the Outdoor Theater
- Equine Center at the Visitors Lounge
- General Services Complex in the Lobby area
- George Bush Presidential Library throughout the whole building
- Student Recreation Center
To access free WiFi, you must connect to TAMU_Visitor. A window will open asking for log-in credentials. Scroll down and click on the maroon button that says "Create an Account". From there, you will provide your name, phone number, and email address. A temporary password will be sent to the email address you provided. After receiving the email, you will log-in by entering your email address in the username field along with the password you received. You will have access to the TAMU_Visitor WiFi for 24-hours.
