Postbaccalaureate Application Process

Postbaccalaureate Undergraduate is someone who:
  • has a bachelor's degree
  • wishes to pursue a second undergraduate degree
Requirements

To ensure that your official transcripts and other supporting documents are processed in a timely and efficient manner, please include the appropriate Document ID Sheet with all documents you submit in support of your application. Click here to download the Document ID sheets.

  1. Application A completed Apply Texas Application. You can apply online at www.applytexas.org.
  2. Application Fee A nonrefundable $60 application fee. The application fee may be paid by check, money order or approved credit card. Applicants who wish to pay by credit card may do so as part of the online application. If you are unable to pay the fee online, you may call the Fee Office (see Admissions Contact Information for phone number).
    1. If paying by credit card: be advised that your credit card will be charged a transaction fee of $1.00 resulting in charges of $61.00.
    2. Checks or money orders (U.S. dollars) should be made payable to Texas A&M University.
  3. Official Transcripts Submit all official college transcripts. An official copy of each transcript must be sent from each university. Transcripts are considered official if they are received in a sealed school envelope. (A high school transcript is not required).
  4. Essay Statement explaining why enrollment at Texas A&M is desired.
What is considered for admission as a Postbaccalaureate?
  • GPR on college course work
  • Completion of prerequisite course work
  • Information presented in application

Priority is given to qualified applicants seeking their initial bachelor’s degree; therefore, post baccalaureate undergraduate admission may be limited or may not be available.
