Online Application A completed Apply Texas Application. Apply online at www.applytexas.org. The name on your application must match your name as it appears in your passport.

Application Fee A nonrefundable $75 application fee. The application fee may be paid by check, money order or approved credit card. Applicants who wish to pay by credit card may do so as part of the online application. If you are unable to pay the fee online, you may call the Fee Office (see Admissions Contact Information for phone number). Waiver of the $75 international application fee is not available.
- If paying by credit card: be advised that your credit card will be charged a small non-refundable transaction fee.
- Checks or money orders (U.S. dollars) should be made payable to Texas A&M University. Checks or money orders are accepted provided they display an agency bank in the United States and have magnetic ink character recognition (MICR) routing numbers at the bottom.

Official Transcripts and Records Submit official transcripts from all post-secondary (university and college-level) courses taken.
You will also need to submit all official secondary or high school transcripts according to the educational system of your country
(generally the last three to four years of secondary education). The final transcript and high school diploma must be received by the application closing date.
To ensure that your official transcripts and other supporting documents are processed in a timely and efficient manner, please include the appropriate

If you attend more than one post-secondary college/university, we require an official transcript from each school, including universities
attended in the U.S. College work from one institution posted on the transcript of another institution will not be accepted. Copies
of official foreign transcripts on file at a previously attended U.S. institution are accepted, provided that the copies are verified
by the U.S. institution as those accepted for admission.

If you attended a U.S. high school, credit transferred from foreign high school and listed on the U.S. transcript will be accepted.
- Applicants from an institution that does not issue a transcript in English must submit the native language transcript with an official English translation. Official translations are prepared by a recognized translation service and include all original seals and/or signatures.
- Consolidated transcripts or provisional mark-sheets are not considered official. Please ask the registrar to send individual mark-sheets that list grades earned in each term.
- Transcripts are considered official if they have an original signature of a school official or an original school seal. Accepted signatures include the Registrar, Principal, Controller of Examinations, or The Ministry of Education. Photocopies or other duplications of a transcript, such as notarized copies, faxed or scanned documents are not considered official.
- For applicants who have attended an American or Canadian post-secondary institution (college or university): Institutions that use the national ANSI ASC X12 transcript format (SPEEDE) prefer to send and receive transcripts electronically. Many universities can use the electronic format. Electronic transcripts can be processed much faster than paper transcripts.

If the institution cannot use this format, please ask each registrar to enclose one copy of your transcript in a sealed, signed envelope. Please mail this envelope with the seal unbroken and the registrar's signature intact to the Office of Admissions and Records at the address below. If the registrar will not release your transcripts to you in a sealed envelope, transcripts may be sent by the registrar directly to:

Official Test Scores Applicants whose native language is not English are required to submit proof of English proficiency, which is satisfied by:
- a minimum TOEFL score of:
- 550 for paper-based testing (p-BT),
- 213 computer-based testing (c-BT),
- 80 internet-based testing (i-BT), or
- a minimum SAT Critical Reading (Verbal) score of 480,
- a minimum ACT English score of 19,
- a minimum IELTS score of 6.0 overall band, or
- completing all four years in a U.S. accredited high school.
Test scores must be sent directly from the testing agency to be considered official. The institutional code for Texas A&M University
for the SAT and TOEFL is 6003, and the ACT code is 4198. There is no institutional code for the IELTS examination (the testing agency should
mail official results to the address below). TOEFL & IELTS scores should be from a test date within two years. Tests should be taken at least eight weeks prior to the appropriate application deadline to
ensure timely receipt and processing of results. We will use your highest test score from one test date. Copies of test scores are not
considered official, but they may help the University locate your official test scores and are therefore useful when the application is
processed. You may verify receipt of your official scores by contacting Measurement and Research Services (MARS) at the address below (e-mail
is preferred). You will need to include your name (as given on test), date of birth, Universal Identification Number (UIN), type of test,
date test was taken and date you requested the scores to be sent to Texas A&M University.
