If an applicant does not qualify for top 10% or academic admission, the complete application file will be reviewed. The information reported in the
application, essays A and B, and any supplemental information including a resume, essay C, or letters of recommendation are considered along with the
applicant's academic profile. A holistic assessment of a complete application includes recognizing elements of excellence through extracurricular
involvement, leadership, community service, achievement, and various perspectives. Students admitted by review are expected to be successful academically
at Texas A&M, as well as, bring qualities and insights that will enrich the university. For application tips and suggestions, click

A select group of freshmen applicants who apply for the summer or fall term but who are not initially admitted 'may' be offered the opportunity for
additional consideration. There are two specific considerations: Wait List/Blinn TEAM consideration and consideration to the Aggie Gateway to Success program.

If space is still available in early May, a limited number of applicants will be granted full admission off of the Wait List. Please note that applicants
who are being considered for the Wait List and Blinn TEAM are not guaranteed either choice and may still be denied during final review.
Applicants given these options must indicate their selections and submit these to the Office of Admissions by a designated deadline for consideration. Final
notifications regarding the Wait List and Blinn TEAM will be sent mid-June.
Any student who is denied can still apply for transfer consideration to Texas A&M University at a later date.
