CURRENT STUDENTS

Undergraduate Registration Schedules

The first 12 working days of preregistration (dates listed below) the system is open Monday – Friday 24 hours a day. The system opens at 12:01 a.m., Monday and closes at midnight Friday. Thereafter registration is open Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. until 9 p.m. unless otherwise noted below.

First Summer Session and 10-Week Term (April 10, 2008 – May 30, 2008)

Second Summer Session 2008 (April 10, 2008 – July 7, 2008)

Fall 2008 (April 10, 2008 – August 29, 2008)
Extended hours of operation as indicated above: April 10, 2008 at 5 a.m. until midnight, April 25, 2008.
Beginning Thursday, August 21, 2008 new freshmen and transfer students who have pre-registered during the summer New Student Conference may access the web registration system to make changes to their fall class schedule.

Spring 2009 (November 15, 2007 – January 11, 2008)
Extended hours of operation as indicated above: November 13, 2008 at 5 a.m. until midnight, December 2, 2008.
Beginning Friday, January 16, 2009 new freshmen and transfer students who have pre-registered during their spring New Student Conference may access the web registration system to make changes to their spring class schedule.

First Summer Session and 10-Week Term 2008

An undergraduate student with an overall grade point ratio of 3.00 or better may register for a course load in excess of 6 hours (7 if part is a laboratory) in a summer term with the approval of their academic advisor. An undergraduate with an overall grade point ratio of less that 3.00 must obtain approval of their dean before registering for a course load in excess of 6 hours (7 if part is a laboratory) in a summer term.

Undergraduates may register for up to 17 hours for the fall semester (graduate students are restricted to 16 hours) during the April 10 -April 25 registration period. Beginning Monday, April 28, additional hours may be added for undergraduates only.

NOTE: Access to web registration for fall classes for all currently enrolled (Spring 2008) undergraduate students will be available until 5 p.m. Friday, May 30. Access will then remain closed to continuing undergraduate students until 5 p.m. Friday, August 1. Beginning at 6 a.m., Monday, August 4, all students not otherwise blocked will once again have access to web registration for fall classes. Continuing undergraduate students should make every effort to resolve registration issues prior to 5 p.m., May 30. Students needing to drop, add, or register between May 30 and August 1 due to extraordinary circumstances must see their academic advisors.

Spring 2009

Beginning November 13, 2008 at 5 a.m. until midnight, December 2, 2008 spring registration will be open Monday – Friday (excluding holidays) 24 hours a day. The system will open at 12:01 a.m., Monday and close at midnight Friday. Thereafter registration is open Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. until 9 p.m. unless otherwise noted below. Undergraduates may register for up to 17 hours for the spring semester (graduate students are restricted to 16 hours) during the November 13 – December 2 registration period. Beginning Wednesday, December 3, additional hours may be added for undergraduates only.

IMPORTANT:

Changes to an existing class schedule may result in additional tuition/fees; payment must be made by 3 p.m. in the Pavilion or by 5 p.m. online the day the changes are made to avoid a late fee or cancellation of class schedule. Students with zero registered hours during the first four (4) class days of summer terms or the first five (5) class days of fall/spring semester will be assessed a $100 late registration fee when they register.
