Applying for Graduation — December 2009

All undergraduate and graduate students planning to graduate Fall 2009 must apply for graduation online at http://howdy.tamu.edu beginning August 19, 2009 on the MyRecord (Fall 2009) tab. The application deadline is 5 p.m., September 11, 2009 for graduate and undergraduate students who will complete requirements in the fall semester. All students planning to graduate in December should apply by September 11, 2009 to ensure having a diploma at commencement. Submitting the completed graduation application will add the $40 graduation fee to your account. Applying after the deadline will add a $50 late fee to your account for a total of $90 per degree.

Late applications to graduate will not be accepted after 11:59 p.m., November 27, 2009 (November 26, 2009 for TAMUG). If you miss this deadline, you must apply for May graduation.

Undergraduate students planning on transferring credit (whether taking the course in person or by correspondence) must provide proof they are enrolled in the required course(s) by 5 p.m., November 6, 2009 to participate in the December 2009 Commencement (Student Rules and Regulations 14.2).

Students who have not cleared financially with the Office of Student Financial Services (979-845-8127) will not receive a diploma at graduation.
