Applying for Graduation — May 2008

All undergraduate and graduate students planning to graduate Spring 2008 must apply for graduation online at https://degreeapp.tamu.edu beginning January 7, 2008. The application deadline is 5 p.m. January 25, 2008 for graduate and undergraduate students who will complete requirements in the spring semester. All students planning to graduate in May should apply by January 25, 2008 to ensure having a diploma at commencement. If you have not selected option 66 (the graduation fee), submitting the completed graduation application will automatically add the $40 graduation fee to your account. Applying after the deadline will add a $50 late fee to your account for a total of $90 per degree. Selecting option 66 is not an application to graduate; you must complete and submit the online degree application.

Late applications to graduate will not be accepted after 5 p.m. April 22, 2008 (April 21, 2008 for TAMUG), when final grade sheets for all graduating students are printed. If you miss this deadline, you must apply for August graduation.

Undergraduate students planning on transferring credit (whether taking the course in person or by correspondence) must provide proof they are enrolled in the required course(s) by 5 p.m. April 1, 2008 to participate in the May 2008 Commencement (Student Rules and Regulations 14.2).

Students who have not cleared financially with the Office of Student Financial Services (979-845-8127) will not receive a diploma at graduation.
