McAllen Higher Education Center
Beginning in Fall 2017, students from the Rio Grande Valley area can enroll in Texas A&M without leaving home, taking engineering, nursing and other selected programs. By Fall 2018, the $40 million multipurpose academic building will be completed and a new chapter in A&M's history begins.
Initially, the College of Engineering will offer a degree in Interdisciplinary Engineering. The courses will be taught by Texas A&M faculty, and graduates will receive the iconic Aggie ring and a fully accredited degree from Texas A&M University.
