The Office of Admissions and Records
Admissions Counseling is the unit within the Office of Admissions and Records that
is the link between high schools and the Texas A&M community. Our counselor
hotline (1-800-992-3292) is available to you Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to
5 p.m. During normal business hours, we have Admissions Counselors available to
speak with applicants and their families.
Prospective Student Centers
Admissions Counseling and Financial Aid advisors are available to visit with prospective
students seeking information about all aspects of Texas A&M.
TACRAO sponsored college fairs
Throughout the state, you will find our staff at all TACRAO sponsored college fairs.
Please encourage your students to visit with us, and we will help them throughout
the entire application process.
Visiting Campus
The Appelt Aggieland Visitor Center conducts tours and provides information about
campus life to prospective students and other visitors. The campus tour is given
by a current student who tells visitors about the history and traditions of Texas
A&M University. Visitors can schedule an appointment to attend an admissions
presentation, meet with an academic advisor, and see a video to learn about life
at the University. The Visitor Center is closed holidays and weekends. Walk-ins
are welcome, however appointments are encouraged. Parking is available in the University
Center Garage for a fee. For more information about making appointments visit the
