APPLICATION STATUS
Students should allow 2-3 weeks for their application and credentials to be processed.
Processing time may be longer for applicants submitting credentials within two weeks
of the admission closing date. Once a student applies, they will receive a University
Identification Number (UIN) and instructions from our office on how to check their
application status online at applicant.tamu.edu. Credentials should
be submitted early for verification of receipt. The student has the ultimate responsibility
to ensure receipt and accuracy of all credentials.
NOTIFICATION OF ADMISSION DECISION
Admission decisions are made throughout the application period, and applicants will
be notified as soon as possible. Final decisions will be announced in early December
for spring admission and early April for summer or fall admission.
Wait List and Blinn TEAM Program Options
Some applicants who applied for the summer or fall term and are not admitted may
be offered the opportunity for additional consideration. We may offer some students
the option of being placed on a wait list. If space is still available in early
May, we will grant full admission to a limited number of students. In addition,
some students will be given the option of consideration for the Blinn TEAM Program.
This program is a collaborative effort between Texas A&M University and Blinn
College located in Bryan. Students are co-enrolled at Blinn and Texas A&M University
and have many of the same privileges of a Texas A&M student. They can apply
for on-campus housing, join clubs, attend sporting events, use the library, rec
center, etc. For more information regarding Blinn TEAM, please go to the website
blinnteam.tamu.edu.
There is no guarantee that these students will be given either choice. Applicants
given these options must indicate their selections and submit these to the Office
of Admissions by a designated deadline for consideration. Notification for both
of these decisions will come in late May or early June.
